How does a Seed Swap work?

  • Find a seed swap that is of interest to you and in your budget. Seed swaps have a wide range of the number of packets you need to prepare.

  • Give yourself enough time to prepare seed packets based on the requirements and due dates. If you are just starting out and don’t have seeds to swap, some hosts allow you to participate with a small fee so you can still join the fun.

  • Be sure to mail in your seeds by the deadline as good seed swapping courtesy.

  • Check you mailbox! You generally get back what your give! I love a good surprise. Feel the excitement of connecting with other gardeners and enjoy the new possibilities for you gardens potential! It’s always fun to receive a variety of seeds.
