All seeds need water, oxygen, and proper temperature in order to germinate. However this method works incredibly quick & works great on most vegetables, legumes, flowers etc! The Petri Dish acts as a mini greenhouse which keeps them moist and warm to speed sprouting 💯🌱. Germinating your seeds like this is also a great way to check seed viability before planting out in your garden (we all know it’s such a bummer when seeds don’t germinate!).
